¸You can navigate through the Voyager Macbeth in a number of ways:• By page. There are two ways to go from page to page:– From the keyboard, use the right arrow key to go forward and left arrow key to go back.– From the Tools palette, use the right and left arrows on each side of the Page button. To go to a specific page, click the page number at the bottom of the screen or click the Page button on the Tools palette. In the dialog window, select the desired section and type the page number where you wish to go. Then, click OK.• By word. See the Help topic “Finding Words and Phrases.”• By line. Hold the mouse down on the Research Tools button on the Tools palette and select “Find a line by its number” from the pop-up menu. A dialog window will appear. Enter the act, scene and line number, separated by periods (for example, “5.1.33” for Act 5, Scene 1, Line 33) and click OK to go directly to the page in the play on which that line begins. (Note: a “line” in the play may actually consist of several lines on the screen.) To return to your original page, click the Retrace button.• With the Progress gauge. You can jump to any page in the currently open section by using the Progress gauge. The Progress gauge uses a red slider to show you how far you are within the currently open section of the Voyager Macbeth. Note that in the Tragedy of Macbeth section, the gauge has added tick marks: bold tick marks indicate the start of each act, and smaller marks indicate the start of scenes within each act. You can make the gauge appear and disappear by choosing it from the Macbeth Menu, by clicking the Gauge button on the Tools palette, or by pressing -G from the keyboard. The Progress gauge does not appear on contents pages.When you move from one section to another of the Voyager Macbeth, the Progress gauge changes to reflect your place in the new section. To go immediately to another page in the current section, click the desired location within the gauge or drag the red slider to go to any specific page: the page number will change to indicate the page to which you will go. Note: When you drag the slider the page numbers will change; however, you won’t actually go to a page until you release the mouse. • By Section. To select from a list of the main sections in the Voyager Macbeth, hold down the mouse button on the section name on the upper-right side of most pages. You can also hold down the mouse on the Contents button on the Tools palette to use the same pop-up list.• By a Section’s pop-up contents menu. In most sections, the text to the left of the section’s title provides information about your current location within each section. To select from a list of the sub-sections in the current section, hold down the mouse button on this sub-section name. The format and location of these sub-section titles vary slightly throughout the Voyager Macbeth, although most are near the upper left of the page. For example, in the Essays section, hold the mouse down on the essay title at the top of pages to see the menu; in the Characters in the Play section, hold the mouse down on the character’s name.• To pages and passages you’ve marked.
